The early access phase of the Battlefield 6 beta officially kicked off on Thursday, August 7, and it’s already showing signs of major success. On Steam alone, the game has surpassed 310,000 concurrent players, and the number continues to climb.
The strong launch has led to packed servers and long queues, with some players reporting waitlists of up to 240,000 users trying to join matches. The demand has clearly exceeded expectations in this initial testing phase.
On Twitch, the excitement is just as strong. Battlefield 6 streams have drawn in over 700,000 concurrent viewers, placing the game among the top-watched titles on the platform since the beta began.
Pre-Sales Climb as Hype Builds
Since pre-orders opened on Thursday, July 31, Battlefield 6 has quickly become one of Steam’s top sellers, even hitting the #1 spot in regions like Brazil.
Keep in mind: the current beta phase is limited to early access players. Once the public beta opens on Saturday (August 9), player counts are expected to spike even higher.
