About the Series
The story follows Kurt, a kind-hearted boy expelled from the Hero’s Party for being considered “useless.” Though his combat abilities rank at the lowest level, Kurt discovers that his skills in everything outside of battle — such as cooking, crafting, mining, and construction — are of SSS rank. Unaware of his own potential, his talents soon help people around him, changing the fate of the town and even the country.
The light novel series, illustrated by Zounose, was first published by AlphaPolis in March 2019, with the 11th volume released on March 19, 2025.
The manga adaptation by Naharu Furukawa debuted on AlphaPolis’ website in December 2019, and its ninth collected volume is set to hit shelves on November 19, 2025.
