Actor Jaz Sinclair has responded publicly for the first time following the cancellation of Gen V, expressing gratitude to fans while hinting that more details may emerge in the future.
In a message shared on social media, Sinclair thanked viewers for their support and described her time on the series as an “incredible experience.” The actor, who portrayed Marie Moreau, did not elaborate on the reasons behind the show’s end but suggested she may speak further on the matter later.
Abrupt End for The Boys Spin-Off
The cancellation was confirmed on April 24, marking the end of the college-set series after two seasons. The show was part of the expanding universe tied to The Boys, which continues to grow despite the decision to end Gen V.
Sinclair is expected to reprise her role in the upcoming fifth season of The Boys, which is anticipated to conclude the main storyline.
Alongside the cancellation news, it was confirmed that a new prequel series, Vought Rising, is in development and scheduled to debut in 2027 on Prime Video. The series will feature Jensen Ackles reprising his role as Soldier Boy.
Another potential project, The Boys: Mexico, remains in development. Series creator Eric Kripke recently indicated that a pilot script has been submitted and received positive feedback from the platform.
Attention is now turning to the conclusion of The Boys. Actor Karl Urban, who plays Billy Butcher, has hinted at a violent and intense final run, with reports suggesting major developments and possible character deaths in the closing episodes.
While Gen V’s future has come to an unexpected end, its characters and storylines may continue to influence the broader narrative as the franchise moves toward its next phase.
