Production Team Returns With Leadership Changes

The first season of Wistoria: Wand and Sword was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, who also handled series composition. Animation was produced by Actas in collaboration with Bandai Namco Pictures, with character designs by Sayaka Ono and music composed by Yuki Hayashi.

For the second season, Yoshihara transitioned into the role of chief director, while Hideaki Nakano, previously an episode director, took over as series director.

The anime is based on the original manga created by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi.

Story Continues in a World Ruled by Magic

Set in a world where magical ability determines one’s place in society, the series follows Will Serfort, a determined young man who cannot use magic despite attending a prestigious magic academy.

While his classmates underestimate him because of his inability to cast spells, Will possesses extraordinary swordsmanship that allows him to challenge expectations and pursue his dream through determination and skill rather than magic alone.

The series combines fantasy, action, and adventure as Will fights to prove that strength is not defined solely by magical talent.

Both released seasons of Wistoria: Wand and Sword are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, allowing new viewers to catch up before the third season arrives.

Although production on Season 3 is underway, fans will have to wait for further updates regarding its release schedule, cast additions, and the first promotional trailer.

With another season officially in development, Wistoria: Wand and Sword is set to continue expanding its story, bringing Will Serfort’s journey to a new chapter as the fantasy adventure moves forward.
