Nintendo Direct February 2026: Major Third-Party Titles Announced for Switch and Switch 2

Nintendo’s February 2026 Partner Showcase delivered a packed lineup of third-party titles heading to the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2, with major franchises, remasters, and new releases scheduled throughout the year.

The presentation highlighted a strong slate from global publishers, including several high-profile releases from Bethesda, Square Enix, Capcom and other major studios, signalling a busy year ahead for Nintendo’s ecosystem.

Big franchise releases headline the showcase

Among the most notable announcements were multiple blockbuster titles coming to Switch 2. Bethesda confirmed that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will launch on February 24, 2026, bundled with six downloadable content packs. The company is also bringing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to the platform on May 12, along with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, scheduled for release later in 2026.

Capcom revealed that Resident Evil: Requiem will arrive on February 27, offering players a new look at the latest entry featuring Leon S. Kennedy.

Square Enix also confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will debut on Switch 2 on June 3, expanding the platform’s growing list of premium RPG titles.

New games and returning favourites

Several new projects and enhanced editions were showcased. Highlights include:

  • Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection – March 13, 2026 (demo available now)
  • Pragmata – April 24, 2026 (demo available)
  • Digimon Story Time Stranger – July 10, 2026
  • Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok – July 9, 2026
  • The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales – June 18, 2026
  • Turok: Origins – Fall 2026

Nintendo also confirmed that a performance-enhanced version of Hollow Knight for Switch 2 is already available, with free upgrades offered to existing owners.

Broad lineup across genres

The showcase featured a wide range of genres, from survival and sports to horror and platforming. Other announced titles include:

  • Valheim (2026)
  • Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters (2026)
  • Tokyo Scramble – February 11, 2026
  • Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse – February 19, 2026
  • Super Bomberman Collection – February 5, 2026
  • eFootball: Kick-Off! – Summer 2026
  • Kyoto Xanadu – Summer 2026

Classic content will also expand with the launch of Arcade Archives 2: Rave Racer on February 26, alongside a new Console Archives lineup featuring titles such as Cool Boarders and Ninja Gaiden II.

Nintendo also shared a rapid montage of upcoming releases, including:

  • Scott Pilgrim EX – March 3, 2026
  • WWE 2K26 – March 13, 2026
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley (Switch 2 Edition) – March 25, 2026
  • Goat Simulator 3 – April 1, 2026
  • Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition – May 22, 2026
  • Culdcept Begins (Switch 2 Edition) – July 16, 2026

Strong support for Switch 2

The event underscored growing third-party confidence in the Switch 2, with many titles launching exclusively or with enhanced performance for the new hardware. Improved graphics, higher frame rates and expanded content were recurring themes across several announcements.

With major releases scheduled throughout 2026 and a mix of new titles, remasters and classic collections, Nintendo’s latest Partner Showcase positions the year as one of the platform’s most active periods for third-party support.
