The story follows Oda Akira, a seemingly forgettable high schooler who, along with his classmates, is transported to a fantasy world. While others are assigned traditional heroic roles, Akira is given the mysterious role of an assassin. With abnormally high stats and a knack for moving in the shadows, he quickly realizes something is amiss.

As he investigates, Akira stumbles upon a dark royal conspiracy and earns the wrath of the very king who summoned him. With the aid of Amelia, an elven spirit medium, Akira sets out on a path of vengeance and survival.
