After bringing Manifest to a dramatic close on Netflix, Melissa Roxburgh is set to make a swift return to the platform with her latest television project. NBC’s crime procedural The Hunting Party is officially joining Netflix US next month, giving the series a major streaming boost just as its second season continues to air on broadcast television.

The show originally premiered on NBC in January 2025 and ran through April, earning a second-season renewal early on. Season 2 began airing on January 8, 2026, and until now, the series has been available exclusively on Peacock. That exclusivity window is about to end, with Netflix confirming that The Hunting Party will be part of its February 2026 licensed lineup.

Netflix has announced that all 10 episodes of The Hunting Party season 1 will arrive on Netflix US on Sunday, February 15, 2026. At present, there is no confirmation on whether season 2 will also be added to Netflix at a later date.

A High-Stakes Procedural With a Secret at Its Core

Created by JJ Bailey and co-showrun by Jake Coburn, The Hunting Party centers on a covert task force assembled to track down some of the most dangerous criminals in the country. These fugitives have escaped from a top-secret prison that officially does not exist, forcing authorities to capture them quietly—before the public ever learns they were free.

Roxburgh stars as Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, a former FBI profiler with a troubled history who is recruited to lead the clandestine operation. As the team hunts down each escaped killer, they must balance the urgency of the mission with the need for absolute secrecy, raising the stakes with every episode. The premise has drawn frequent comparisons to The Blacklist, particularly for its mix of action, profiling, and serialized mystery.

Reception and Cast

The series has received mixed-to-positive reviews so far, currently holding a 6.6/10 rating on IMDb. Critics and viewers have largely praised the lead performances and action sequences, while some have pointed to uneven writing and storylines that do not always land.

Alongside Roxburgh, the cast includes:

  • Nick Wechsler as Oliver Odell, Bex’s former partner
  • Patrick Sabongui as CIA operative Ryan Hassani
  • Josh McKenzie as Shane Florence
  • Sara Garcia as Jennifer Morales

Part of a Packed February for Netflix US

The Hunting Party joins an already busy February 2026 schedule for Netflix US, which includes a mix of classic series and recent favourites. Other licensed arrivals this month include Stargate SG-1, What I Like About You, Mike & Molly, Suburgatory, and HBO Max’s Search Party.

For fans of Manifest or viewers looking for a new high-concept procedural to binge, The Hunting Party’s Netflix debut offers a timely opportunity to catch up—just as the story continues to unfold on NBC.
