Netflix’s One Piece live-action series is officially setting sail again, with Season 2 confirmed for a 2026 release. Production on the next installment has already wrapped, and the excitement doesn’t stop there—Season 3 is also confirmed, with filming expected to begin in 2025.

The second season, subtitled “Into the Grand Line,” will expand the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey with bigger challenges and even greater dangers. Fans will see some of the most iconic arcs from the original manga and anime come to life, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.

Series creator Eiichiro Oda has remained closely involved, providing input on casting and the storyline, and has shared his gratitude for the worldwide support that made this continuation possible.

Returning and New Cast Members

The core crew returns:

Season 2 also introduces Tony Tony Chopper, brought to life with a mix of CGI and motion capture. Other newcomers include Smoker, Dr. Kureha, Crocus, and several members of the Baroque Works organization, setting up the massive Alabasta Saga.

Release Window and Beyond

While Netflix hasn’t shared an exact premiere date, fans can expect Season 2 to arrive sometime in 2026. With post-production underway and no major delays expected, the series is on track to deliver a polished continuation.

Looking further ahead, Season 3 has already been locked in. Filming is scheduled to begin in Cape Town in 2025, signaling Netflix’s long-term commitment to adapting Oda’s epic story.
