YouTube megastar Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has officially revealed the release date for Season 2 of his Amazon Prime series Beast Games, along with a first look at the massive “city” he built as the show’s new set.
MrBeast has never been known for small projects. The 27-year-old creator, who runs the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, is famous for going all-in on his videos: gigantic sets, outrageous challenges, and jaw-dropping cash prizes.
In late 2024, he took things to a new level with the launch of Beast Games on Amazon Prime, a competition series where 1,000 players battled through a lineup of extreme challenges for a $5 million reward.
For Season 2, he’s raising the stakes again. This time, he built an entire mini-city for contestants to live in throughout the competition. Here’s what we know so far.
MrBeast announces Beast Games Season 2 release date
On November 20, 2025, MrBeast shared new details about the upcoming season, including several photos of the set.
The images reveal a futuristic, stadium-like environment featuring:
- Swimming pools
- A basketball court
- Lounge and recreation areas
- Multiple large “stages” likely used for different challenges
MrBeast also confirmed that Season 2 will feature far fewer contestants than the first installment. Earlier in March 2025, he issued a global casting call seeking the “strongest” and “smartest” individuals to participate in the new season.
As he described it:
“100 of the strongest and 100 of the smartest people on earth compete for over $10,000,000 in prizes in the most insane games ever created.”
Season 2 looks to be even more ambitious, more intense, and more over-the-top than anything he’s produced so far.
