Concerns over a possible delay to Grand Theft Auto 6 have resurfaced in recent weeks, but one well-known industry insider remains confident that the long-awaited title will still arrive as planned.

Speculation intensified after comments from Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, who noted that the game was not yet content-complete. Although Schreier also said he would not be surprised if the game is released this year and did not explicitly predict a delay, his remarks were enough to reignite fears among fans who have already endured years of waiting and multiple schedule changes.

Despite the renewed anxiety, Tom Henderson, editor-in-chief of Insider Gaming, has reiterated his belief that the game will launch on schedule. Henderson had previously predicted that GTA 6 would release in November 2026, and he has not altered his outlook.

Speaking on a recent episode of Insider Gaming Weekly, Henderson addressed the growing debate around a potential delay. While acknowledging that release dates can always change, he said that based on everything currently known about console release pipelines and Rockstar Games’ historical launch patterns, he sees no strong indication that the game is being pushed back again. Henderson specifically reaffirmed his expectation of a November 19 release window.

He also emphasized that his comments should be understood as personal analysis rather than confirmed reporting. Nevertheless, Henderson’s views continue to carry weight within the gaming community, given his past track record with GTA-related information—some of which has previously been corroborated by Schreier.

While uncertainty remains until Rockstar makes an official announcement, Henderson’s renewed confidence offers some reassurance to fans concerned that the next chapter in the Grand Theft Auto series could slip further into the future. For now, anticipation remains high, with many hoping that this year will finally mark the end of one of gaming’s longest hype cycles.
