At its core, Dandadan follows two students with completely opposite beliefs. Okarun is convinced aliens exist but laughs at ghost stories. Momo believes in spirits but thinks extraterrestrials are nonsense.
Their argument leads them to test their beliefs separately—only to discover that both ghosts and aliens are very real, and far more dangerous (and ridiculous) than they expected.
