A major leak may have just pulled back the curtain on Battlefield 6’s full lineup of weapons, gadgets, and vehicles. Following the mixed reception of Battlefield 2042, anticipation for the next entry in the long-running FPS series has been sky-high. Judging by fan response so far, Battlefield 6 could be shaping up to be the comeback players have been waiting for.

Even ahead of launch, the game is breaking records. Pre-orders for both editions are currently outpacing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on the PlayStation Store, and the recent open beta drew over 521,000 concurrent players at its peak — the biggest in franchise history. With hype at an all-time high, leaks like this one are only adding fuel to the fire.

What the Leak Shows

The footage, reportedly captured from a Battlefield Labs build and uploaded by a user called AngryMeerkat, showcases nearly every piece of content available in the current version. That includes:

  • Around 50 weapons with extensive attachment options
  • New gadgets, like a portable ladder for reaching high ground
  • Adjusted class setups, including the deploy beacon, now shifting from Recon to Assault
  • A wide range of vehicle options, though fans immediately noticed the absence of the fan-favorite Little Bird helicopter

This change to the deploy beacon is particularly interesting. In the open beta, Assault was by far the most popular class, so giving it the beacon could balance things out while preventing lone Recon snipers from being too dominant.

Cosmetics and Customization

The leak also highlighted a variety of weapon skins and character cosmetics. True to EA’s earlier promises, most of them stick to a more realistic and “grounded” design compared to some of the flashier styles seen in past titles.

However, recent datamines suggest EA has struggled to keep cosmetic details under wraps, with multiple skins surfacing online in the past week alone.

Take It With Caution

It’s worth remembering that the game is still in active development, and the final build may differ from what was shown in this leak. Developers have already pledged to make meaningful adjustments based on beta feedback, so some weapons, vehicles, or gadgets could be shuffled around before release.

Still, if this leak is even partially accurate, Battlefield 6 looks set to deliver a massive arsenal, deep customization, and refined class dynamics that could win back players who felt burned by the last installment.
