The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch with 46 Steam achievements, giving players plenty of optional challenges to complete while exploring Vale Sangora and developing protagonist Coen’s abilities.

Rebel Wolves has revealed the achievement list ahead of the game’s release, offering an early look at the activities players will need to complete to reach 100 per cent on Steam.

Of the 46 achievements, 25 are currently visible, while another 21 are hidden. The undisclosed achievements will only become visible after players meet their respective requirements.

The confirmed achievements cover a broad selection of activities, including story progression, combat challenges, exploration, character development, inventory management and the game’s Witchcraft and Vampirism systems.

Combat Rewards Experimentation

Several achievements encourage players to combine different abilities rather than relying on a single combat style.

Better Safe than Sorry requires players to decapitate an enemy with Artery Strike while the target is affected by Burning Blood. Make It Rain involves defeating an enemy by causing an explosion with an Active Ability.

Players can also earn Untouchable by successfully performing five Perfect Blocks in a row, while Absolutely Insatiable requires three Passive Abilities to be equipped simultaneously.

These challenges suggest that mastering the game’s combat systems will be an important part of completing the achievement list.

Exploring Vale Sangora Is Part of the Challenge

Exploration also plays a major role in the achievement system.

Players will need to destroy all of Brencis’s flags for Capture the Flag, while Bird’s-Eye View requires them to reach the top of every tower and scout the surrounding areas.

Other exploration achievements include visiting the city of Svartrau and discovering every village across Vale Sangora.

Players will also have to take on some additional activities during their travels. Delivery Delay requires the destruction of eight vrakhiri transports, adding another challenge for those looking to complete the entire list.

Character Progression Has Its Own Achievements

Coen’s progression is closely tied to several achievements.

Glass Ceiling requires players to reach Level 50, while Mastery asks them to fully upgrade an ability from one of three progression paths: Swordmastery, Witchcraft or Vampirism.

The three ability trees each have their own Ultimate Perk achievement. Players can earn Master of Arms by unlocking an Ultimate Perk in Swordmastery, Arch Warlock by doing the same in Witchcraft, and Creature of the Night by unlocking one in Vampirism.

The game also includes achievements tied directly to specific abilities. Dead Man Talkin’ requires players to communicate with a deceased individual using the Compel Soul Witchcraft Ability.

Meanwhile, Shadow Roamer requires travelling 1,000 metres using Vampiric Abilities.

Money, Hunting and Other Activities

Not every achievement is focused on combat or story progression.

Balanced Diet requires Coen to drink blood from 10 animals, humans or monsters, while Smuggler asks players to earn 1,000 denarii by selling silver.

Those who prefer to save their money rather than spend it can work toward Miser, which requires accumulating 5,000 denarii.

There are also more unusual activities. Players can learn fishing through Catchy Tittle, while another achievement, Beware the Meatbag, involves uncovering the truth surrounding the Cannibal village.

21 Achievements Remain Hidden

The 25 visible achievements already provide a substantial look at what Rebel Wolves expects players to experience, but nearly half of the list remains undisclosed.

The remaining 21 hidden achievements currently have unknown names and requirements. They will be revealed as players unlock them.

Given the game’s emphasis on player choice and multiple gameplay systems, completing every achievement may require more than a single playthrough. Different approaches to Coen’s abilities, exploration and story decisions could encourage players to return to Vale Sangora to discover content they missed the first time.
